All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

We usually ship our products within Ethiopia through private delivery companies and in some cases via postal service carriers such as Ethiopian Postal Service. We also inform customers the delivery method and give the full tracking mechanism wherby customers are updated regarding the whereabout of thir orders. In some rare events there might be a delay due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control. In such rare circumstances we will keep  updaing our esteemed cutomers and yabeto will offer various options that are customized and agreed with when the event occours. This may include sending out the product again with other means of delivery as well as fast track refund upon customer's request.

Unlike the national delivery process, where yabeto can directly intervene and sort out delivery hinderances, for international shipment we are wholy dependent on international shipping carriers such as DHL, UPS,Fedex,EPS. To increase the effieciency we will make sure to process your orders within hours after your order. This will save time and reduce the chance of deivery delays. So that you are keep on updated on the status of your shipment we will send you (always) a tracking number so that you can directly track the status of your order. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

For simple flat rate shipping: We offer 50 birr and 80 birr flat rate shipping within Addis Abeba and the regions respectively. 

we offer free shipping for orders over 2000 birr within Addis Abeba and above 3000 in all regions of Ethiopia. This is applicable for products that are in stock in our Addis Abeba werhouses. If the product werhouse is outside Ethiopia another shipping rate is applied. For a customized options you can refer the below table should the standard flat rate and the order amount based calculation is not for you. This is applicable for domestic delivery.

Local delivery

Free local delivery is available for orders over 2000 Birr within Addis Abeba and over 3000 in regions. For orders under the mentioned flat rate and conditions, we charge for local delivery as shown in the table above.

Deliveries are made from 8-6 on everday of the week except important religious holidays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival. 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at from the location where it is closer to you. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Our in-store pickup hours are 8 am  pmto 6 on except Sunday and holidays. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to all countries countries around the globe: The only difference is in areas that are far away such as Oceania,Latine America,Far east the price is higher than average as well the duration is longer than Europe and north America. 

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

We offer multiple international shipping options, as can be seen below for example for Australia we offer 3 options depending on the order weight . Please make sure to select your location of delivery to avoid wrong shipping calculation and therby cause delay in processing your order.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. yabeto is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@yabeto.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. To make the delivery process flowless please provide your shipping address properly. Carriers such as DHL would like to have your mobile number hence provide your mobile number in the space provided.

Refunds, returns, and exchange

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@yabeto.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
